3 Ways to Change Your Thinking

We all have an amazing gift and once we tap into understanding it, it can be life-changing. The gift that we have, is called “the power to choose.”

We choose what we think about. If we change our thinking, we can completely change our lives. It’s all about what we focus on. If we constantly focus on negative thoughts, we will not have a life filled with growth and joy. This is why it’s important to change your thinking.

If you have been the type of person who has suffered from stinking thinking, changing your mindset is no easy task. You must have an open and positive mind. Your personal growth is what helps you to make choices for your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Bottom line, something as simple as changing your thinking can certainly change your life. Here are some ways which will help you do that.

1) Show up

Your feelings have nothing to do with it. Whether you feel like it or not, you still have to make the commitment to do it. The blessings of showing up and committing go a long way. You will find that you’ll begin to build confidence and with that, your mindset will change.

Make a success list. Start with small daily goals and make a commitment each day to follow through.

2) Get out of your comfort zone

We all have a comfort zone, but in order to change our thinking, we must be willing to step out of that comfort zone—no matter how much we enjoy being there.

Our mindset will only begin to change if we allow ourselves to be exposed to the possibilities of change.

Make a commitment to learn something new each day. You may feel uncomfortable at first, but you will find your confidence starting to build.

3) Get rid of excuses

We could all think of a million reasons why we are not succeeding. Unfortunately, excuses are a bad form of thought process. It’s time to change that. If you find yourself using the word “but” after your sentences, begin eliminating that word.

You will see that this is a powerful technique to change your thinking. It’s all about getting rid of those emotions and stop using excuses. It’s important to focus on the positive. Start by changing your focus from the “buts” and start working toward the “hows”.

Starting today, pay close attention to your thinking. No more stinking thinking! Keep your focus and your thoughts on positive things. Changing your mindset will be very rewarding. You will find that you are getting to know yourself and you will begin to love yourself even more. Focus on the positive. Change your thinking and change your life—you can do this!

Have a super positive week!
