Announcements From Las Vegas

Oakland A’s Ballpark may be coming to the Tropicana

The Tropicana Las Vegas opened in April of 1957 and has been a Vegas icon ever since. Is it possible that it could be imploded within a year and become a ballpark? That would make it the busiest street corner in the world, with The Park, Excalibur, MGM, T-Mobile, and Allegiant Stadium just over the bridge.

That is the current rumor as the Oakland A’s have their eyes set on only three places, and the Trop is in the running at number one.

The A’s moving from Oakland to Vegas is still a definite possibility, but this is the first time we have heard about a 30 to 40 thousand-seat stadium being built on the Strip.
