Want some real Italian food for a well deserved night out? Try Pasta Cucina at Sunset Station in Henderson. We went Friday and tried numerous deliciously served items. After my first margarita, we started with a crisp and cool Caesar salad along with some marvelous calamari, deep fried with a rich red sauce. My husband had the Seafood Fra Diavolo and I had the lobster ravioli.
Tom Gorball, the director of food and beverage for all of the restaurants there came by our
table numerous times to see what we were enjoying. Their menu is the perfect size, they don’t overwhelm you with a hundred items to make a choice. The side spinach was so good; we considered the veal or the salmon but were so content with what we ordered.
They have a plethora of appetizers and numerous pizzas. This is their new summer menu and was very reasonably priced; the desserts were unbelievable! We had a Spumoni Sundae with cherry chocolate pistachio gelato, in a chocolate waffle shell and whipped cream, quite large enough for at least three.
I definitely recommend this Italian restaurant—and you can bowl or see a movie afterward! Not too long ago they opened an immense new sports bar, plenty of screens to view with food service available. Sunset is so easy to get to. Open weekdays from 5-9 and 5-10 on weekends.
