ICE SKATING IN LAS VEGAS?

You’ve got that right! Every year the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on the strip opens for a wonderful holiday season event at the Boulevard Pool. And this year it begins on Nov. 20. The rink is 4200 sq. feet of real ice complete with s’mores roasting by the fire, holiday movies playing on a big screen overhead, snow showers, and breathtaking views. The Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 20, will be hosted by the famous mascot of the Las Vegas Knights Hockey Team, Marc-Andre Fleury and Max Pacloretty along with the ice skating dog Benny, who will be returning to show off his skills.

Staring on Sunday, Nov. 17, fans can see the Ice Rink three days before it officially opens. On Wednesday Nov. 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Benny who was rescued just days before he was to be euthanized, will put on another skating show to show off his ice hockey skills. On Wednesday Dec. 4 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., the first Marquee Mistletoe Ball will convert the ice rink into a club-like atmosphere with a high-energy set by DJ Crespo. Guests will receive complimentary ice-skating with a non-perishable food donation and take photos with Santa and Rudolph. Friday Dec. 6 brings out some of the Vegas Golden Knights with a special meet and greet, and Wednesday Dec. 18 is slated for a charity drive for homeless youth.
