Maroon 5 “V” Album Review

So yeah, I’m officially in love with Adam Levine.

Maroon 5 just released their 5th studio album “V” (pronounced as “Five”), and it was freaking amazing! Adam and his mate never fails to give their followers listening-worthy tracks. Sure it’s quite different from their debut “Songs About Jane”, but at least it still has the very smooth-humming vocals of Adam that we have always loved.

“Better That We Break” would always be the best Maroon 5 song for me; however, “Unkiss Me”from this album is slowly getting its way to the top; with its clever and raw lyrics that reflect the honesty of the song. Plus the song “Sugar” that may be sounded a bit like Katy Perry’s “Birthday”, but still managed to give the sugary-pop sensation that only Adam’s vocals can deliver perfectly.

It’s hard not to fall in love with Adam’s smooth voice; the kind of voice that you would want to serenade you every minute, but maybe not with the song “Animals,”it would be creepy but could totally get used to hear him sing “My Heart Is Open” for every freaking minute. “Feelings” – it is one of the best tracks on the album – lyrics were awesome, and it’s freaking SEXY.

“V” worth the two long years of wait. Every track was made masterfully, emotions that were laid through lyrics were beautifully expressed, and it is so very addictive.

Best Tracks: Unkiss Me, Sugar, Feelings
