After a 20-year run at another casino, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas welcomes their new tenant Todd English’s Olives. Along with his other restaurants at the Ritz-Carlton in Abu Dhabi and Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, Todd English has done it once again.
The fabulous new place opened last night with the media, and it was overflowing out the doors. Every appetizer imaginable was served, along with top-notch drinks and plenty of champagne. The well-known group, Human Nature, which had performed at Excalibur for years then went back to Australia and have returned, was the music for the night.
The Las Vegas interpretation is a retro 2.0 throwback to the original Olives in Boston, circa 1989. Wood-fired, fun, theatrical, buzzing, exciting and full of big, bold flavors. Its atmosphere puts you at ease as it sits with open air windows facing the courtyard and is close to two showrooms at Virgin. Don’t miss this fabulous new place.
