The Cantina by EL DORADO was opened in Las Vegas just a couple years ago after the first one on Sammy Davis Drive, just west of the strip, and the one in Tivoli Village on the west side, which I reviewed a couple of months ago.
Every item on the menu is organic and non-GMO and has truly unique flavors. A smaller location on the south side of Las Vegas is where four of us dined last night and had practically everything on the menu. They have some outdoor dining, but with 117 degrees here this week, we opted to eat in.
Four flavors of Margaritas came out, including one cucumber and jalapeno. Chips, salsa, both lobster and shrimp tacos, Mexican corn, salad, sizzling fajitas and a burrito the size of a 10 lb bag of potatoes arrived on the table. Fantastic, festive music and videos provided a fun backdrop for our meal. I tried a little sangria after the margaritas and couldn’t pick which was my favorite. Always special events at all three locations and really, the best Mexican food in Las Vegas. And free parking!
