Here is an update of some of the things now happening in Las Vegas.
Cowabunga Bay Water Park in Henderson is now open.
The Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway is open.
The Fashion Show and Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood, Crystals on the Strip will all reopen on June 5.
The Fremont Street Experience with its grand light show and the Fremont Hotel will reopen June 3, the El Cortez on the 5th, along with Harrahs on the strip.
After Dark with Ian Bagg, Criss Angel’s Mindfreak, Mat Franco-Magic Reinvented Nightly, and Tenors of Rock will all open June 19.
Absinthe, the rollicking, crazy, long-lasting show at Caesars; Atomic Saloon Show; and Opium will open on June 23.
Thunder From Down Under; Hans Klok; (https://hansklok.com/) and the Australian Bee Gees, one of my favorite groups, have announced July 1, provided the Excalibur is open by then.
Raiding the Rock Vault is tentatively waiting until Sept 3, and the Tropicana with Legends in Concert and Purple Reign have given no notice of opening.
We’re expecting to hear from Carrot Top any day.
No word yet on Bodies, Titanic, Shania Twain, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, or the long anticipated An Evening with Whitney the Whitney Houston Hologram Concert.
Fireworks! Yes, Vegas is finally going to reopen, though slowly. Maverick Helicopters is back taking reservations; Speed Vegas, south of town, and Vegas Balloon Rides are happy to start booking tourists again. Sun Buggy and ATVLV tours—both dune buggy rides are going strong.
The small town of Boulder City, just 20 miles south of Vegas, has plenty of eateries open as you drive out to see Hoover Dam.
A lot of the shows are now listed on websites as “tentatively” taking reservations, all predicated on the reopening of casinos. Here’s a short list:

Caesars Entertainment Group – May 29
Wynn Resorts – June 1
The Cosmopolitan – June 4
Sands Corp – June 1
Westgate – June 18
Most shows are taking bookings for July.
The best thing about re-openings, every property will once again have free parking!!!!
