Europe’s First Magical Entertainment Center, Created by European Illusionist Florian Zimmer, On Pace Again to Open in Germany

Europe’s first magical entertainment center, the dream, and the creation of award-winning illusionist Florian Zimmer are set to open in April 2022 in Neu-Ulm, Germany, after a nine-month lull in construction because of COVID-19 concerns.

Once completed, the 2000 square meters Florian Zimmer Entertainment Center will offer a magical theater seating capacity of 200 featuring two shows daily, with entertainment six days a week. The center will also have one indoor and one terrace restaurant and two bars with a total capacity of 300.

“It was important to me to bring the magic from Las Vegas to Germany,” Zimmer said. “This will be a great springboard for the future of magicians from all over the world.”

The Florian Zimmer Entertainment Center site is a former U.S. Army facility that holds nostalgia for Zimmer. He performed at the base in 1991 when he was nine years old and called the “Magical Wunderkind.”  That performance was short in duration but became long in inspiration and impact on his career.

For the past 15 years, Zimmer has performed all over Europe, presenting his exceptional magical skills at major gala awards, television, film festivals, corporate, and sporting events.

“He will simply take your breath away,” Bob Fitch, the former director of David Copperfield, Shows.

His reputation as a top-rated entertainer has earned him praise as one of the finest illusionists/magicians worldwide. His professional honors include the Siegfried and Roy Award, the European Champion of Magic Award, World Magic Award, Marc Klasser Award, Monte Carlo Magic Stars. In addition, he is the only German magician to receive the Golden Lion Award.

”Inspirational and highly creative even we do not know how you do it,” illusionists Siegfried & Roy said when presenting the Golden Lion Award.

In addition to the entertainment center, Zimmer is a consultant with major national television production companies and is developing a children’s magic show. “Tatort German Crime series/Janet Jackson “Rock Witch You Tour” magical effects consultant/UFA for the upcoming Siegfried & Roy Documentary.”

Negotiations are currently underway with a German production company to develop a reality television documentary that will follow his career and document the success of his multi-million-dollar entertainment center.

3 Secrets of Top Sales Performers

Today, I’m going to give you a few more tips on how to become a top performer in the field of selling. Keep in mind, everybody’s always looking for the secret sauce when it comes to having success. But, I have to let you know upfront that there are no shortcuts. Whatever opportunity you may have, you have to be willing to put an incredible amount of effort into it. In other words, you have to do what most people are not willing to do. You have to get up early. You have to go the extra mile. You must have consistency and most of all, you must make a commitment to never give up. If you commit to doing all of this, you will improve each and every day.

There is no such thing as a born salesperson, great salespeople are made. Let’s make that commitment and go for it. Here are some tips that will help you get to that level of becoming a top performer.

1) Ask good questions

People do not want to be sold to, they want to know that you are genuinely interested in helping them. The way we do that is by asking them good questions so we can find out the solution to their issues.

A top sales performer will be less interested in pitching and more interested in having conversations with prospects. Good conversational skills hinge on asking good questions. For example, in our business it’s important to find out what the prospects pain points are. A good question that you can ask is, “If you could, what would be the top two things you would change about your current experience?” As they are speaking, make sure that you are listening and do not interrupt them.

Conversations are more natural than pitches and are more comfortable for prospects. If a salesperson asks the right questions, they can uncover the customers needs and concerns and figure out the best way to address them.

2) Get to know your product and service

After a top salesperson figures out the prospect‘s needs and concerns, it’s important to determine the best solution for that particular prospect. Please remember that every prospect is unique. This is where the art of listening comes in, so you know exactly the best solution to help your prospect.

It’s important to understand the product and service, how it could help, and also have a few bits of data to back up the claims.

Product knowledge is vital, and we want to make a commitment to this, but it’s important not to fall into the trap of paralysis by analysis. I’ve seen far too many sales representatives not take the first step, using the excuse that they don’t know enough. The best way to learn is to get out there and fail—failure is part of the learning process. The best way to learn how to swim is to get in the water.

3) Build trust

When it comes to selling, the first step is to get the people to like you. Once they like you, they will listen to you. As they are listening to you, you are building trust.

Top salespeople realize that selling is much easier when prospects trust them. Approaching each prospect as a consultant rather than a salesperson changes the focus to helping rather than selling. This is how we build trust.

When it comes to selling, the reality is people are buying you. Put the prospect first and go out there and help them. You will find this will help you go a lot further than just trying to talk them into something.

Make a commitment to be a top performer in the field of sales. Work at these three areas this week and watch your production grow. Your future looks amazing!

Have a super successful selling week!

5 Tips for Working Single Moms

Single, working mothers are some of the strongest people in the world. The ability to make money, provide safety for your children, and do it all with little help is truly an amazing sight to behold. The problem is that it can be a bit too much to handle at times and assistance may be required.

Luckily, you are not the first single, working mother and you won’t be the last, and those who have come before you have devised great ideas and tips that can help you mitigate the stress you have with all of these components on your plate. Let’s talk about some great tips that can get you on the right track, including working out flexible schedules, making a budget so you know what you can afford, a few places you can go for help, and more.

1. Make a Budget

As a single parent with only one income, there may be times when money is tighter than you may like, and there is nothing to be ashamed of in that regard. If you struggle to make ends meet, then a budget could provide some clarity. Account for all of the income you have each month and then take a long moment to consider all of the money that you spend and which bills you can erase. For instance, do you find yourself going out for coffee and buying your lunch at restaurants a lot? If so, maybe you can make coffee at home and pack a lunch each day and see how much that saves you.

If you need the motivation to create a budget, consider setting a financial goal that you would like to reach in the future. That could be having a certain dollar amount saved up by summer or putting enough in the bank for a semester at school or a vacation with the kids. By managing your money, you may see that you have more to spare than you thought.

2. Ask for a Flexible Schedule

To be a successful working mother, a work-life balance is essential. Mornings can be especially exhausting as you feed the kids, get them ready for school, and also try to perform your job all at once. The stress from doing too much can be unrelenting, so ask your employer if you can work a flexible schedule. Since they know you will get your work done, request to work a later shift each day. Go to management with a proposed schedule and you have a better chance of getting the approval.

If you are not the outgoing type then it may be daunting to speak to management, but understand that flexible schedules are becoming more of a norm these days. There are many inspiring stories of single mothers approaching schools and working out an agreement where they can learn from home or use their own equipment and get the degree they deserve. Go to the powers that be and make your case and you never know what you can do.

3. Try a Job As a Freelancer

If your current job doesn’t offer the flexibility you need, then you can also try a freelance career. Think about what you are good at and start building a business. A freelancer can be a writer, an online tutor, translator, accountant, coder, or many other options. This freelance job will allow you to work on your own time and potentially avoid the need to drive to work so you can stay home with the kids.

At first, it may be tough to find clients, but over time, you can make good money freelancing by accepting as many jobs as you can when you get started and taking the time to build relationships and show off your work so they come back to you time and time again. Once you are comfortable, you can ask those clients for referrals and your business can continue to grow from there.

4. Remember Self-Care

When you do so much at a time, it can really take a toll on your mental well-being, but you need to do what you can to keep your health in check. The trick is to fit in some “you-time” whenever you get a chance. That could be when the children are napping or between the time when the kids go to school and you go to work.

Mix in activities that provide exercise and a clear mind like taking a short walk or practicing yoga. If you can’t get out of the house then just do activities that you enjoy, whether it is reading your favorite book or magazine or trying a new recipe. Then, of course, you can do activities with the youngsters that keep you fit, such as taking hikes or enjoying a swim.

5. Get Help When You Can

Remember that you are not alone. If you ever need help managing the kids, work, and school, then you have a network of like-minded people who can help. Don’t be afraid to go to family or search online for a single mom’s group in your town. Often, people in these groups can step in and help babysit one night or run an errand if you don’t have time.

If you are running low on options, there are also government programs that you can look into for the help you need. Research grants for single mothers or get assistance with groceries through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

The life of a single, working mother is not always an easy one, but the reward of making it through and raising great kids is without comparison. If you find yourself struggling, try the tips above and you will get through the rough patches easier than you think.

Here TV’s GIRLS’ VOICES NOW Lands Emmy Nomination

For Immediate Release

‘GIRLS’ VOICES NOW’ LANDS EMMY® NOMINATION FOR OUTSTANDING SHORT FORM CHILDREN’S PROGRAM

The nominated episode ‘Under The Scarf’ tackles social justice and religious ideologies through the lens of Mehrin, a 16-year-old Bangladeshi American

Los Angeles, CAJuly 9, 2021 — Here TV, America’s first and largest LGBTQ+ streamer, has scored an Emmy® nomination for their short form documentary series “Girls’ Voices Now”. Co-produced by Women’s Voices Now, “Girls’ Voices Now” is a summer youth program that amplifies the voices of young women from underrepresented communities in Los Angeles by teaching them documentary filmmaking. “Girls’ Voices Now” previously won the Impactful Short Title Award at the inaugural OTT.X Impact Awards in December 2020.

“Here TV has social justice in our DNA. We look for opportunities to produce programming that inspire and uplift the human condition,” says 3x Emmy® nominated actor-producer David Millbern. “As social media bombards young girls with toxic imagery, we strive to empower these amazing, diverse, filmmakers to share their authentic stories.”

“Girls’ Voices Now: Under the Scarf” follows Mehrin, a 16-year-old Bangladeshi American living in Los Angeles. A teenage girl like any other, Mehrin discusses her challenges of moving to the Unites States at a young age: unable to speak English and communicate with fellow classmates and teachers, being stereotyped for her skin color, and harassed for being Muslim and wearing a hijab. Taking matters into her own hands, she spent 3 months watching Disney Channel shows to learn English fluently. Blessed with her new friends and new life in America, Mehrin hopes and prays that one day the ignorance and hatred towards immigrants will extinguish.

“Women’s Voices Now is so grateful for the recognition being given to our work through Girls’ Voices Now”, says Heidi Basch-Harod, Executive Director of Women’s Voices Now. “Together with our partners at Here Media, who believe in our contribution to social change through film, we celebrate the achievement of our youth filmmakers in receiving this Daytime Emmy nomination, and congratulate the many individuals who help to make this work possible.”

The 48th Daytime Emmy® Awards Children’s Programming and Animation ceremony will be presented in a stand-alone show streaming on the Emmy® OTT platform on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 5p.m. PT / 8p.m. ET.

3 Ways to Become a Top Sales Performer

I’ve been in direct sales since I was 18 years old and had the blessing of the best training in the world selling encyclopedias door to door. I had great success in that industry for almost 20 years. We were often told that if you can have success in that type of field, you can be successful in anything.

The encyclopedia business was a fantastic business and taught me not only how to be successful in selling, but also the importance of having the right attitude in general. I’ve taken so much psychology from that industry and applied it towards the Merchant Service industry and it has allowed me to be a top performer in this business also.

So what’s the difference between becoming a top performer or just getting by? Over the years, I have seen many talented people who are content with just being average or below average. Research shows that unique personality traits combined with a perceptive sales approach are what set top performers apart. If you truly want to be a top sales performer here are some secrets which will help you.

1) Put yourself in the customer’s shoes.

Most salespeople unfortunately have the dollar signs in their eyes and are only concerned with how much money they are going to make.

The magic word when it comes to being successful is HELP. It is important to identify the prospect’s top priorities and concerns and take that information to come up with a solution for them. The bottom line is that people want to feel like they are being helped rather than being sold.

Asking good questions to a prospect is an important part of the sales process. Good conversational skills hinge on asking good questions. The person who is asking the questions is the one who has the control. When you ask questions, make sure you are listening so you can come up with a solution for the prospect’s needs and concerns. The best salespeople are the best listeners. Quit pitching and start having a conversation.

2) Believe in your product and service.

Belief and enthusiasm for a product or service is infectious and hard to fake. When you believe in what you’re doing and you are excited about what you’re doing, this will rub off on your prospect which will allow them to begin believing in what you are doing.

When you show that you believe in what you are doing, it shows that you have confidence. The more confidence that you have, the more likely it is that the prospect will begin to trust you. Be sincere and genuine. Focus on helping which will build trust.

3) Quit wasting time.

It’s important to have a sense of urgency. Time is your capital. Make sure you invest every second properly.

I’ve often witnessed sales people waste so much time with the wrong prospects. Top sales performers know that they’re not going to sell to everyone. Sometimes we have to have the confidence to walk away from a prospect if it’s not working. The time that we waste trying to persuade the wrong prospect can be better spent tracking down new sources of qualified leads.

I look forward to sharing some more secrets with you in the upcoming weeks. Whatever you do, make a commitment to be the absolute best. Choose to be a top performer. There are no secrets. This week, focus on these areas and do whatever it takes to be the best. It’s going to require a lot of effort. Believe and achieve.

Have a super fantastic week!

The Loop in Las Vegas-New People Mover

Have any of you heard of the Loop in Las Vegas?  Created by Elon Musk, his Boring company has finished the first phase connecting the three convention centers.  In front of each one is an escalator which descends 40 feet to the cars.

Currently, all cars have drivers which you jump into and tell them which of the other two buildings you wish to go.  They immediately take off and you go through tunnels with ever-changing bright colors, arriving at your destination in about 2 minutes. Hop out and take the escalator up.

Each one is about 1/2 mile and they plan to start the next section connecting with the new Resorts World, which should be finished in about 6 months. There is no charge to use; eventually people will jump in the cars themselves.  They can move up to 4,000 people an hour and this certainly is convenient.

Hey Ripley, Say It Ain’t So!

© April 2021

Hey Ripley, who do we believe?

The man in blue or the man driving while black

In that big Cadillac?

Stopped for license tags, missing then found

Or air fresheners – dangling on a rearview mirror

That brought Daunte to quiver

When Kim confused a TAZ-ER, with a TRACE-R from a GLOCK

That ROCKED Wright’s life AND Philandro Castile’s –

for an IOTA infraction in Minne-SOTA

that lead to chain reactions and subtractions of black souls snuffed by police

MIS-actions – mere distractions in a world where some lives matter

and others don’t warrant the chatter.

Hey Rip, say it ain’t so, BUT Say it loud and clear

That a STOP in traffic

Ceases to be pornographic

As images once never SEEN, now DEMEAN our screens

with the pitter-patter of why black lives don’t matter

when Derek in Minne-SOTA takes

a knee that intervenes with the breath of life for

nine minutes & some 29 SECONDS that BECKONS – and even

shocks the men and women in blue.

Say it ain’t so Rip

Say it ain’t so Van Winkle

As you wriggle from a 1619 nap to a TODAY as brittle as it was back then.

Who are you going to believe Rip?

The men in blue or Breonna who in the middle of the night took a trip into the beyonna.

Say Rip – can you give me a tip – when in God’s name do Black Lives Matter?

Is it EVER or NEVER – what say you Rip?

Enquiring minds want to know in Minne-SOTA, Oklahoma, Dakota,

Manitoba, Maricopa, Saratoga, and all points beyond.

Don’t give up, Rip – please don’t give up… it’s 2021, not 1619

and if we can reach out to the other side from the inside

as to WHY Black Lives Matter,

you won’t be asked to “Say It Ain’t So” anymore.
