ABC two-time Emmy Award Winning Lionel Moise to Host Inaugural Haitian Association of Indiana Unity

Indianapolis, IN — April 27, 2023, The Inaugural Unity Fundraising Gala of the Haitian
Association of Indiana (HAI) is set for May 7th, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the stunning Indianapolis Arts Garden, 110 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. The celebrity host for the event will be ABC’s two-time Emmy-winning news anchor, host, and correspondent, Lionel Moise. This event promises an unforgettable evening of musical entertainment, celebration, learning, and networking.
The Haitian Association of Indiana was founded by Frere Herard in 2008 as a sure way to
guarantee that the rich Haitian culture would be passed down to the next generations growing up in the Hoosier state and nearby states. In recent years, Indiana’s population has grown to include over 40,000 Haitian immigrant residents. As a result, the HAI mission has evolved to provide aid and essential resources to the immigrant community and share the Haitian culture with all Friends of Haiti and Indiana residents.
The Haitian Association of Indiana promotes social well-being and supports the educational
advancements of Haitians in Indiana. It shares Haiti’s rich culture with the community-at-large and the Friends of Haiti in Indiana. Guests of the gala will learn more about the organization’s work and programs and its need to build a Community Resource Center. They will hear inspiring stories from individuals impacted by HAI’s work and gain a deeper understanding of the organization’s mission to empower and support the Haitian community in Indiana.
We invite all to join us for an evening of unity, philanthropy, outstanding music, and celebration!
Donations are welcome to help us build the Community Resource Center and fund its programs.
