EL DORADO CANTINA RESTAURANT was opened in Las Vegas in 2014. The first one was on Sammy Davis Drive, just west of the strip. Every item on the menu is organic and non -GMO and has truly unique flavors. It is wonderfully popular and always full, and there is a private room in the back for parties. The guacamole is mixed at the table and is the best in town.
Coming along in Tivoli Village on the west side, a new one opened a few years later. Last 
week they threw a marvelous “mixer” party for a group of tourism people. In both their lovely courtyard and their eastern building, we sat down to a great margarita and plenty of appetizers. Not being that hot out yet (today in Vegas we reached 111 degrees) we enjoyed the sounds of two entertainers, a typical fun-filled Mexican afternoon. It was all buffet style and there was plenty to pick from. Tasty tortillas, tostadas, guacamole…delicious!
I tried a little sangria after the margaritas and couldn’t pick which was my favorite. Martine Jordan did a marvelous job of hosting us all. If you happen to be in the southwest side of Las Vegas, there is now a third location. Always special events at all three locations and really, the best Mexican food in Las Vegas. And free parking! Tivoli is filled with great shops and lots of restaurants and micro breweries.
