The Annual Señoras of Excellence Señores of Distinction Awards Gala, one of Las Vegas’ most prestigious and elegant events of the year—one that has been successfully celebrated for over fifteen years—is returning, in spite of the pandemonium, on September 17. They have expanded the awards and are honoring exceptional personalities of the Las Vegas community. This year it will be part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations and we will have fabulous entertainment and special guests! Save the Date!!!

The Señoras of Excellence Señores of Distinction Awards 
Gala was created as a means of providing scholarships to deserving students in Southern Nevada. We are deeply honored to continue with her legacy and celebrate her mission of honoring those Ladies and Gentlemen whom also have made a difference bringing our community together. It is all about the students that have been sent to college and making education a reality. Many of our past scholarship recipients will be in attendance to share their stories of success through education. They invite you to celebrate their accomplishments.
In addition to honoring the students and past scholarship recipients, this special evening will also celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Month and honor heroes in our community who have gone above and beyond to help and support the physical, emotional and behavioral needs of our community resulting from the COVID pandemic. Along with the generous sponsors and community-minded Las Vegans like yourself, we will be supporting the Latin Chamber of Commerce Scholarship fund in keeping with Sandy Peltyn’s mission of giving the gift of higher education to students seeking excellence in their own education.

The entertainment for the evening is a mariachi band, who performed at Biden’s inauguration, DJ C’Quel.
A harpist will be playing during the reception, along with some of the Latino performers who will be in town that week for Mexican Independence celebrations.
Emilio Estefan will deliver Cano Health’s award, and hopefully Gloria will come with him.
