What Are Your Plans for 2020? Part 5

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses…….I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. What a positive verse this is, especially knowing that there are PLANS made for us.

For the last four weeks, we have focused on the word “prosper”. If you have not had a chance to read through all of these motivations, please go back and read through them and commit to following the full plan. If you have read through them, please re-read. This is a plan that truly works, there is a design for you to prosper financially. All you have to do is make that plan and follow it without looking back.

Today we are going to focus on the word “hope”. Since we are using a scripture verse, I feel it is important to define the word from a biblical perspective.

Many of you know that I speak a lot about success and how to achieve it. It is absolutely imperative for us to have belief in ourselves if we want to attain great levels of success. People who are successful have a great confidence and self-belief. I doubt that you will ever hear them say, “I hope to become successful.” The word “HOPE” from a world’s perspective is commonly used to simply just make a wish.

Now, from a biblical perspective, HOPE is the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness. Hope is something to look forward to. Hope is confidence in the future.

There is no question that in life, we are going to have difficult times. I have learned that we are either in a storm, coming out of our storm, or getting ready to go through a storm. Sometimes we may go through struggles in life that quite honestly seem hopeless. Stay focused, you will get through it.

As you are on your success journey, you will have bad days. You may even feel like throwing in the towel sometimes. People may question you. Some will tell you that you are not going to be successful. You may even have some who will say, “I told you so.” This is why it is very important to always remember why you began your success journey. You will get through the difficult times, don’t look back. Don’t listen to the naysayers. Be committed to the cause. Your future looks bright and nothing is going to stop you. You have an attitude of confidence and great expectation. That’s what we call HOPE.

I’m going to leave you with another verse that has been a great encouragement to me…

But those who HOPE in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Let me encourage you this week to keep building your self-confidence. Keep your attitude positive always and have great expectations for yourself.  You have an incredible HOPE for all the positive things that are in front of you.

Have a super fantastic week!
